Is Shania Twain’s Secretary Getting It Mutt-Style?
Record producer Robert “Mutt” Lange and country-music star Shania Twain may have issued a “no comment” about their breakup last week, but someone’s talking.
According to People magazine, several sources close to the pair have stated that Lange entered a romantic relationship with Marie-Anne Thiébaud, the couple’s longtime secretary and manager of their Swiss chateau.
“Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship,” says one source.
Dun-dun-dun!
Lange denies that he and Thiébaud have ever been involved with each other, and characterized his marriage’s dissolution as “literally just a growing apart, that’s all.”
Sure; there were probably just some differences that they couldn’t overcome. Such as Mutt wanting to romance their secretary, and Shania not wanting him to. A lot of couples experience that problem.
As for Twain, sources close to the singer say that she’s “devastated. This came out of left field…[s]he loved him.” The singer is trying to pull herself together with the support of “a very close-knit group of family and friends.”
Hopefully, this group doesn’t include the “friends” who blabbed to the world that her husband was cheating on her. That’s not very supportive at all.
