Shanna Moakler Stands by Her Part-Time Man

From all accounts, former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 33, is well on the road to recovery after surviving a September 19 plane crash that killed four and left him badly burned.

The status of his relationship with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 33, however, is still a big, fat question mark.

Moakler, who starred with Travis on the reality series Meet the Barkers and has had an on-again, off-again relationship with him since the couple divorced earlier this year, tells Life & Style that she's still there for her healing ex-hubby.

"I'm helping him as much as I can," the December 2001 Playboy Playmate of the Month tells the mag. "I'll do anything he ever needs."

When it comes to defining the exact nature of her relationship with Barker, Moakler hedges. "Travis and I go back and forth so much that I don't have time to meet anybody or do anything," Moakler claims. "We have a profound love, and he'll always be in my life no matter what."

She goes on to theorize that their relationship woes are because "we love each other too much."

Barker might be inclined to disagree. Moakler did travel to Augusta, Georgia, to visit Travis in the hospital shortly after the crash.  But she made no follow-up appearances, a fact that seemed to annoy Barker as he struggled to recover.

And while Moakler was on hand for Travis' 33rd birthday party earlier this month, an intimate get-together with 300 hunk Gerard Butler in October suggests divided loyalties.

Still, Moakler—who has two children, Landon, 5, and Alabama, 3, with Barker—holds out cautious hope for a romantic future with the ex.

"Who knows what can happen?" Moakler offers.
