With temperatures dropping all over the country, it seems some people forget how much of a difference a simple winter coat can make.

That’s why celebs like Shannen Doherty and style expert Bobbie Thomas teamed up with One Warm Coat, a charity that allows people to donate used coats for those in need. Also, celebs such as Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Rachel Zoe (to name a few) have donated some of their fashionable items for an eBay Coat Auction.

When asked why she chose to get involved, Bobbie said:

“I love that 100% of the proceeds from the celebrity coat auction on eBay go to charity, which sadly is a hard thing to find. Even though One Warm Coat is a year round organization, this is a great time of year to give back.”

Shannen also added:

All you have to do is donate one warm coat. It’s so simple. I said “yes” immediately. GLAD is doing a beautiful thing. One-hundred percent of the proceeds go toward their charity.
