Shia LaBeouf Admits He Dated Rihanna
Although Shia LaBeouf says his mom is the sexiest woman he knows, he did once have a little crush on pop star Rihanna.
The pair were rumored to have hooked up back in 2007, and now Shia is finally admitting that they did—kinda.
Shia told Playboy that back when he was filming Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull, he was set up on a date with the not-so-shy singer. He already was “infatuated” with the singer, and was shocked when he found out that RiRi wanted to get together with him as well.
A mutual stylist friend put the two in touch; he recalls: “(I was) filming a sword fight when I got the message. I said to myself, ‘Can this be my life?’”
However, things didn’t get past date numero uno. He revealed, “It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”
