Lately Shia LaBeouf has been in the news for his personal demons, but this weekend fans will finally see the buff, cap-loving actor in his new action flick, Eagle Eye.

Also starring the preggers Michelle Monaghan, the movie is a twist on the typical “what would happen if technology turned on us” flick. Think I, Robot, 2001: A Space Odyssey, etc. 

While the slap-happy actor always seems to be escaping danger and bad guys in his films, it seems luck was, for once, on his side this week. He skated on DUI charges from his painful car accident earlier this summer. 

It’s also the last time audiences will see Shia’s delicate left hand before he mangled the crap out of it. Apparently there are some things money can’t buy.
