Shia LaBeouf Has an Issue With Booze
In an interview in the September issue of Details, actor Shia LaBeouf discusses his alcohol issues. These revelations come on the heels of his drunk-driving injury and arrest this past weekend.
As reported by Us, Shia admits he has problems taking just one drink, and that he has smoked and drank with his father, a former heroin addict.
“It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model—no iconic actors that I know of have problems like that,” he says.
Did he just pronounce himself iconic?
LaBeouf’s Transformers co-star, Isabel Lucas, was in the crash with him. She sustained minor injuries. Isabel is the girlfriend of Entourage lead Adrian Grenier. Adrian was not along for the crash.
LaBeouf underwent surgery on his hand, and will reportedly be back on the Transformers 2 set within a month. He was charged with misdemeanor.
LaBeouf’s er, hippie-ish looking and polite Moms, says: “He is doing really well… Thank you so much for asking.”
She’s just happy he didn’t injure his drinking hand.
