Fox News is reporting that Shia LaBeouf, 22, has had to drop out of her next film, due to his injured hand still giving him problems.

LaBeouf will no longer star in director Neal Burger’s new feature, Dark Fields, in which he was set to play a man who discovered a "smart pill."

Indiana Jones' son's hand will supposedly require further surgery, according to experts.

Shooting on Fields was to begin this fall.

"Shia’s hand is totally shattered, it’s much worse than anyone thought," a source says.

His career isn't quite kaput just yet. He did just sign on for a starring role in the film adaption of John Grisham's novel, The Associate.

LaBeouf's hand was crushed in an auto accident in July, in which his truck overturned on Sunset Blvd.

The infamous pickup truck even went up on Ebay.

He probably could have used the movie's smart pill before he got into his truck after drinking that night.

Shia, I was watching Touched by an Angel "The Occupant" when 14 minutes into the show a kid dressed like a mummy comes onto the screen. I hear him speak and know right away I was watching you. My Daughter Ash has watched all of your shows and got me into watching with her. When you came out in Holes I was telling Ash that you were going to be a very handsome, and gifted actor as you grew older. Ash is going to be 19 this July 20th and she still calls to let me know when you are going to be in a new movie, or show. I will have to let her know that I saw you in Touched by an Angel, however short your part was you were still very good! Yes, after I heard you speak I had to Google your career to see if I was right, and I was glad I was. Good luck with your hand, I will keep you in my prayer's that everything turns out well for you in the future! Best of Luck and Good Health too you
