Filming commenced this week on Mark Ruffalo's directorial debut, Sympathy for Delicious, in downtown Los Angeles.

But as the L.A. weather took a turn for the sunny, Sympathy star Orlando Bloom ditched his umbrella and stripped off his top.

Photographers snapped the 32-year-old British heartthrob on a break between scenes, talking on his cell phone.

Bloom, who plays a rock star in the movie, was in full bad-boy mode: Leather pants, jagged tattoos and a wild, untamed mane.
