Katie Holmes is coping with her new life in NYC and living apart from her husband of nearly two years, Tom Cruise.
Katie, who moved to NYC in early August, has been practicing seven days a week for her new Broadway play, All My Sons, and has been flying back and forth to Los Angeles to attend premiere parties and other special events. At the August 11 premiere of Tropic Thunder, witnesses said Katie looked “really out of it,” and could barely keep her eyes open.
Katie may have too much on her plate. Between her new job, caring for Suri, and Tom’s two children with Nicole Kidman, serving as an influential member of the Church of Scientology, and keeping up her marriage, Katie may be trying to do more than she can handle.
Suri may be what holds the couple together. A source says, “They’re both devoted to Suri,” and they wouldn’t do anything drastic because of her.
