Situation: I’m the DWTS Underdog!
This is alarming news, but for once, The Situation isn’t being cocky! The newly-minted Dancing with the Stars contender isn’t boasting about his chances on the ballroom dance-off, instead saying he’s at a disadvantage because filming of Jersey Shore will overlap with the beginning DWTS rehearsals.
“I’m going to lose a couple days practice,” The Sitch tells People. “But I don’t mind being the underdog. I promise to try my hardest and practice as much as I can and be the best that I can be. I hope the Situation Nation shows up to support me.”
The former Chippendales dancer even says he was “speechless” when he got the call from DWTS.
“It’s pretty unbelievable for me to be on one of the biggest shows on MTV to one of the biggest shows on TV.”
Still, The Sitch insists he’s not getting too big to remember his original fans.
“There’s enough Situation to go around,” he says. “The Situation has mass appeal.”
