Russell Crowe could take a few pointers from new moms like Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie. Those ladies wasted no time in shedding the pounds after their little passion projects (aka babies).

Looks as though Crowe is still attached to the bulk from his own newest bundle of joy, the forthcoming Body of Lies costarring Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Aussie actor was snapped leaving a hotel in New York sporting a Tony Soprano-style running suit, with some grizzly stubble and a full face.

Hopefully (for everyone), he'll slim down for his next big-screen turn, doing double duty as both Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Race you to the green tights, Russell.
