Speidi's Real Marriage a Fake, Too?

Drunk or not, Heidi Montag, 22, and Spencer Pratt, 25, still appear not to have much of a marriage.

MSN reports on Wednesday that while The Hills stars enjoyed a quickie (and Us Weekly sponsored) elopement followed by a visit to a Los Angeles courthouse for official papers, neither might hold up.

As seen in a Hills season finale promo, the couple stop at a local courthouse where a judge poses the age-old question, "Do you take this man...," but perhaps to no avail.

An L.A. Superior Court rep told the outlet that MTV was indeed granted permission to film within the courthouse, but not during business hours and not with one of their judges.

Court spokesperson Alan Parachini says the show requested to tape "what purported to be a wedding outside of court hours," and wouldn't elaborate further on the nature of the ceremony.

At press time, a marriage license for the two does not exist in the State of California.
