Renowned and opinionated Kanye West may have met his match.
Recently, the 31-year-old, ever-humble rapper declared himself "the voice of this generation." This declaration didn't sit well with The Colbert Report host Stephen Colbert.
"With all the auto-tuning on your record," Colbert addressed West via his media pulpit, "you're barely the voice of your own album!"
Colbert, 44, continued, "There's only one way to stop Kanye's arrogance, and that's with my own arrogance."
And thus, Operation Humble Kanye was born. View the call to action below:
The television host is calling for all true patriots to buy Colbert's Christmas album on iTunes at 5 p.m. EST this afternoon, in an effort to knock West's latest offering, 808s and Heartbreak, from the top of the charts.
In light of this challenge, West, as always, took his message to the people, twittering, "Who the f*ck is Stephen Colbert?"
Careful, Kanye; you're about to find out. And you could find yourself on the other end of a smackdown for once.
Then again, with your obvious expertise, you just might come out on top in any real peeing contest.
