TMZ report that "Jackass" and all-around wildman Steve-O, 33, has signed on to star on the next season of Dancing with the Stars to air in March.

Which professional dancer will want to pair with that guy?

Picture Cheryl Burke trying to get Steve (real name Stephen Glover) to rehearse while he staples his body parts together and tries to snort her baby powder.

"We never comment on casting rumors, true or false," the show's producers have said.

But insiders say Steve-O auditioned in earnest to be on the show.

Keep in mind that producers have a strategy of choosing several people who might appear, then whittling down the contestants right before the official line-up is announced.

In recent months, Steve-O has gone through his fair share of travails.

He checked himself into the Cedars-Sinai mental health ward in Los Angeles in March, and pled guilty to cocaine possession in June.

If producers are looking for someone to top Cloris Leachan's shenanigans, they've found their guy.
