Steven Tyler Hoofed It to Treatment

on May. 30, 2008 07:50 AM / 7 Comments

Aerosmith lead singer and Janice Dickinson look-alike Steven Tyler recently went back for his fifth stint in rehab, and the gossip columns went wild.

Now the renowned partyer is claiming the treatment was not for alcohol or illegal drugs, or even prescription medications, but instead for help with the pain of several recent foot surgeries.

It has become somewhat of a trend for celebrities to attribute their rehab stays to something other than addiction issues. Eve Mendes said her check-in at Utah's Cirque Lodge was research for a movie role. And Kirsten Dunst said she chose Cirque to reverse her depression. Coke and booze are so '90s!

Tyler, an androgynous national treasure, says his feet had been causing him immense pain from running around stages for nearly 40 years. Didn't he at least put them up on an ottoman during the time the group was dead in the early '80s? He certainly had the downtime.

"The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected," Tyler, 60, said in a statement, "but the 'foot repair' pain was greater than I'd anticipated. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet."

Tyler's "foot issues" arrived on the heels of his daughter Liv Tyler's split from husband Royston Langdon. At the time, Tyler was quoted as saying Liv was "doing great."

Yeah, she wasn't busy making up stories about foot pain to explain rehab stint number five.

Hi guys. Look at all the sentences which seem true and question them.
I am from Palestinian and learning to read in English, please tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Panded can shed polyurethane carbamic awareness."

    Regards :-D Ivory.
