Suri Cruise and Violet Affleck: Toddlers Prefer Plaid

Celebrity toddlers Suri Cruise and Violet Affleck are already burgeoning trendsetters. Both were recently seen sporting plaid ensembles. Plaid seems to be the in-trend among the fashionable 2- to 4-year-olds for Winter 2008.

Future actress Suri, 2, and her cold-sore-suffering mom Katie Holmes, newly 30, were spotted arriving home to their New York City apartment. Suri was working a cute little plaid dress.

Mom and daughter had been visiting a school on the Upper East Side, accompanied by a bodyguard bearing presents. Was Suri playing Santa Claus?  Certainly, she would not settle for a mere elf role.

On the West Coast, Suri's celeb tot counterpart and mommy's cell phone holder Violet Affleck, 3, was picked up at school in Santa Monica by parents Ben Affleck and a very pregnant Jennifer Garner, both 36. Violet also was swathed in a surely expensive plaid creation.

Baby Gaps all across America are going to go plaid, plaid, plaid after seeing these pictures.
