Swine Flu Puts Kibosh on Heidi and Seal’s Anniversary Plans

May 2, 2009 at 3:30pm

And yet two more victims of the swine flu epidemic have been identified.

Life & Style reports that German supermodel Heidi Klum and her husband Seal have canceled their annual plans to renew their wedding vows in Costa Careyes, Mexico, this year, because of the swine flu epidemic.

The couple have reaffirmed their “I do”s every year at the same location since getting married there on May 10, 2005. Alas, the health scare has caused them to abandon that  tradition this time around.

“Heidi was worried about border closings and her three small children,” a source tells the magazine. “And of course, she’s pregnant.”

Klum’s representative confirms, “Heidi and Seal have decided to renew their vows at home in LA this year.”

Oh well; at least the world will be spared the image of yet another Heidi returning from Mexico and looking like an idiot with a medical mask on her face.

Have your say in the comments section: Do you think Klum and Seal are overreacting to the swine flu outbreak?
