SYTYCD’s Alex Da Silva Arrested on Rape Charges
So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Alex Da Silva is once again doing a dance with law-enforcement authorities over accusations of sexual assault.
E! Online reports that Da Silva was arrested in his North Hollywood home on Tuesday morning and charged with eight frelony counts, including forcible rape, in relation to four of his dance students.
Da Silva is currently being held on $6.2 million bail, and could face life in prison if convicted. Deputy District Attorney Rosa Alarcon revealed that Da Silva’s alleged victims were 20 to 26 years of age at the time of the alleged assaults, which supposedly took place between August 2002 and March 2009.
In April, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office declined to press sexual assault charges against Da Silva due to lack of evidence, pending further investigation.

It’s about time an intelligent District Attorney was put on this case. Â Former lacking DAs is the reason for the case being dragged on for so long. Â Alex is a criminal and deserves everything that is to come – life in prison. Â Rapists don’t show their dark side to the public. Â Their own families don’t even know it! Â May justice be served. Â
People are already assuming that he is guilty. What about is he is not? I seen many cases in which women used the “raped” weapon to get money, like in the Kobe Bryant ‘s case. Why is the bail so high? He did not flee after charges were dropped two months ago. What makes the judge and the DA think that he is going to flee now? It does not make any sense. Something does not make sense here.

look at the hate band wagon rolling through already. you werent there so you dont know for sure if any of this is true. im not saying it didnt happen because maybe it did, but we dont know that. i wouldnt throw him to the dogs until he is proven guilty in a court of law because believe it or not, not all celebrities are criminals who use their status to get away with sh*t. there are shady people out there who will do whatever it takes, that includes ruin your life, just to get what they want. so question everybody and everything until the truth comes out.

I am so sick of people defending rapist because they are famous (or attractive). These women are not going to be comming fourth for no reason telling the police the same thing. When a person is raped- the victim is sent to a doc to have a rape kit done- they docuement any “damage” to the vaginal area and take sperm samples for identification. DNA doesn’t lie. They have to have hard evidences to arrest him for these charges. So you are the one that needs to shut up and stop f*cking supporting creeps and perverts that rape women.
I’ve known him for years as I dance professionally in other dances, we all know that he is not a nice person and I really don’t like him but I also know that he is not a raping type, he treat girls horribly after sleeping with them but he is too skinny to rape any girls….

The case is screwed up from the get go. Not enough evidence to go to trial, then the DA essentially advertises for victims to come forward. Women who had sex with him years before and did not claim rape now come forward. Could it be because he is more famous now? Their main recreation involves gyrating their bodies close to and up against strangers for four minutes at a time. Then they agree to take private lessons at his homeso they can become better their hobby. I am to believe they re coaxed into his bedroom after the lesson and surprise…he wants sex? If I am a juror, I will have a hard time not having extreme doubt about these women. Maybe if they were nuns it would be different. But they were salseras.

Alex Da Silva probably slept with over 20 000 women. He is an ***hole. Women that know him know that he is a player. He surely played women, but I don’t think he is rapist, because he does not have to be to get sex. I saw women throwing themselves at him at nightclubs. What fair trial would come out when the DA publically announced, on televison and internet, that if any women was raped by Alex Da Silva should called the number they announced in television and internet?. How many out of the 20,000 women he slept with, and who he played, would hold a grudge against him as a way to pay him back? I am surprise only four came out.
I have known this man for ten years; he has broken many many hearts but so have I; he is not a rapist however, that is clear to anyone who has ever known him;
further I politely request that all you jealous mother f*ckers stop hating him because he dances better than you and YES has slept with at least 20,000 more women than you, therefore please let the judicial system do their thing; either way this skinny man who has no need to rape and 99 percent chance did NOT rape anyone is somehow being framed; something is wrong here; I am not sure what however.
