The not quite engaged Tara Reid was spotted dining with a friend Wednesday in Los Angeles, and she looked shockingly sober.

Most Tara-watchers have an indelible impression of Miss Reid trying to leave a party at New York City eatery Cipriani back in September. The American Pie sweetie was blitzed and required assistance.

For now, Tara is so sober that she's even able to aim a camera at the paps who are aiming their cameras at her.

For once, Tara leaving a restaurant and heading toward a parking elevator isn't inspiring onlookers to run to the phone to dial 911.

    guys leave her alone you never know what she is going through that day maybe she found out some bad news maybe a friend died you never know shame on you for always being judgers who are you. Just for once be nice to the girl maybe something good will happen to you if you just give her some love she deserves it by now.
