Taylor Lautner Is Sick of Being Shirtless
Better sit down for this, Twi-hards; we have some very distressing news for you. Taylor Lautner doesn’t want to do anymore shirtless scenes.
The 17-year-old New Moon hunk—who famously packed on 30 pounds of muscle to retain the role of Jacob Black in the vampire franchise—would like everyone to know that he’s not a piece of meat to be ogled like a side of beef in a butcher’s window, thanks very much.
Lautner complains:
“My motivation [for buffing up] was the movie and the fans. But I don’t want to become known as just a body…If I had to choose, I would never take my shirt off again in a movie, but I guess that’s not very realistic. I certainly won’t be asking to do it, though.”
What about if it’s really, really essential to the advancement of the plot, Taylor?
Oh well; at least a certain former co-star of his can breathe a sigh of relief now.

he isnt being unreasonable at all but lol he is only 17 so this fear of him being typecast in only sh*tless scenes is laughable i mean how many shirtless roles are there in hollywood – i think he will carve out a good career for himself and i feel his movie choices in the future will be very sensiblexx

haha! poor taylor. guys, lay OFF!! we all complain! he can a little too if he wants!! guess he got a little more than he asked for. but i like hearing him say this. it shows he doesn’t have an ego..or at least that’s how it seems. and it shows his maturity too in wanting to be known for his career and what he loves and is good at instead of his bod like everyone is concerned with. it’s refreshing, especially having it come from a young hollywood-er.

In my point of view, Taylor should take a break from all this shirtless stuff… He should do a movie without being uncomfortable, and just relax so he could do it his best.
