Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato Are Puck Buddies
Unlikely friendship alert!
Fearless singer Taylor Swift and Disney fave Demi Lovato (born Demetria Devonne Lovato) were spotted at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Monday night to watch the L.A. Kings hockey team take on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The young stars’ grins seem to gloss over a curious connection between the two: 19-year-old Jonas Brother Joe Jonas. Joe famously dumped Swift via cell phone in October. And Joe and Lovato co-starred in Disney’s 2008 cinematic epic Camp Rock.
Lovato, 16, has denied scuttlebutt that she and Jonas have been romantically involved. She has called him “a close friend” with whom she’d forged an “emotional” bond while filming Camp Rock.
And Swift, 19, has made it abundantly clear that she’s still nursing bruised feelings created by her break-up with Jonas.
Hmm; what could the two have talked about when they weren’t watching the puck-bashing gladiators battle it out on the rink?
Hopefully the conversation went better than the game did for the Kings, who went down in defeat 3-1 to Tampa Bay.
