Taylor Swift Really, Really Doesn’t Want to Talk About Kanye West

After Sunday’s Video Music Awards debacle, Taylor Swift finally knows the satisfaction of cutting someone else off in mid-sentence.
The Fearless chanteuse appeared on radio station 93.3 FLZ’s MJ Morning Show this week, and apparently was none too thrilled about host Todd “MJ” Schnitt‘s seeming obsession with the Kanye West incident.
After a clearly frustrated Swift attempting to change the subject several times, Taylor’s handler intervened, and the phone interview was abandoned. (Listen to the interview here.)

I don’t blaim her one bit for not wanting to talk about Kanye- she is mature for her age- and doesn’t want the situation to overcast her sucess and talent- unlike that fat ass Kelly Clarkson, who won’t shut up about Kanye.
I agree that it is time to let it go. He has apologized and she accepted it. Moving on…
She was very polite, in fact polite every time that she asked him to move on. The fact that he basically ignored her makes him look like the jackass here. Can Todd not hear, or is he mildly retarded?? What a douche.
I highly doubt that her exposure on some random morning show would’ve impacted her career all that much. He was obnoxious, she was polite, and he ignored her. He sounds like an absolute moron, especially after the interview had ended when he started ranting and raving. The people in his office sound so sarcastic, too. Ugh.
I’m not a huge Taylor fan and I thought Kanye was an idiot before. If she wants to move on, it’s time to move on. Saying that the Kanye stuff is the biggest move of her career is incredibly rude.
Just like Kanye, he disrespected her as a person and artist and its almost worse that he refuses to see or acknowledge that with the crap from Kanye so fresh in everyone’s minds. I also think he is trying to get publicity off of his crudity and rudeness and disrespect, just like Kanye, he blames everyone and everything but his own character flaws.
The only reason I am upset about this whole thing is because Kanye is black.

I’ve no idea if Kanye is a racist or not; one thing for sure he is a jacka$$ like President Obama said. For those that think the incident is bad because he was black, you are missing the entire point. If anyone had done this to another artist, whether they were young or old, white or black it would have been a huge breech of professionalism and respect. The fact that he did it to a young artist that was in the height of her happiness and excitement at receiving her first VMA award was just completely thoughtless and offensive and petty. That is why most people were and are upset about it. I’m glad Taylor is moving on tho, she is not talking about it and has shown what a mature and professional person she is in putting it behind her and not using it to promote herself.
i thought taylor did the right thing, what i dont really understand is that the people at the radio station think taylor was being unreasonable. its quite ridiculous really.

Talor does not need to say a word about Kanye,we all know what he is ,a Jack Ass.They say you disclose yourself through your actions,and Kanye did just that. Your A1 Talor,your a class act,and I admire you more through your humility.
I love TS music, but she was being unrealistic if she expected everyone to not stop talkin about it. It was a definite Diva moment.
Taylor was right to leave the interview. Interviews have a task; promote the performer and their work. She answered some questions about the situation. When MJ was obviously looking for her to make negative comments and wouldn’t move on to the music, in essence harrassing her, she ended it. Good for her!
I’m not seeing how this could possibly be a racial issue though. Someone interupted someone else’s award ceremony. How is this about race or gender? It’s just rude.
Taylor, you haven’t let fame go to your head and remain so graceful. I am proud of you! I hope you continue to stay this way as you grow your career.

The VMAs incident was obviously very awkward for Taylor and I’m sure she understood the public’s interest at first but who can blame the girl for not wanting to continually revisit the scenario?
i live in the Tampa area & i used to listen to that radio station. however “mj” has always been annoying beyond belief. just his voice gets to me now. but ya i dont blame taylor at all, she was being subtle & polite. he didnt get the picture? then there ya go haha. besides this whole kanye & taylor thing is getting kinda old. we all know kanye is a self centered baby but moveeee on!
I do get his point, but c’mon, MJ, she only asked you like 3 times to move on, and you practically ignored her..I understand that he was doing his job and that all the radiostations were obviously going to ask the same thing and all that, but that doesn’t mean he has to keep insisting on a subject taylor obviously didn’t want to talk about..
