Lauren Conrad's ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner doesn't seem at all jealous about the Hills starlet's current beau, actor Kyle Howard.

Us reports that Jenner says Howard is cool. "I like him a lot. I see him surfing out in Malibu all the time. He's a very cool guy."

But don't expect Howard to be appearing on LC and Brody's hit MTV series The Hills for the upcoming fifth season.

"Actors don't go on reality shows," Jenner says on his official site, where he also advises fans to stay in touch with their exes.
