Third 'Twilight' Film in the Works

Filming for the Twilight sequel New Moon hasn't even begun yet, but Summit Entertainment is so confident in its vampire franchise that it's already okayed a third installment.

Variety reports that Summit has officially green-lit a film adaptation of Eclipse, the third book in Stephenie Meyer's vampire series. The film is slated for a June 3, 2010 release.

In Eclipse, Bella (portrayed by Kristen Stewart) will be forced to choose between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner).

It's not certain whether Chris Weitz—who's over helming duties from Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke for New Moon—will direct Eclipse.

This ought to give RPattz reason to celebrate! And if recent history is any indication, it's a pretty safe bet where he'll be doing so.

Twilight was amazing and i am 100% that New Moon will be as well! EEK! i already commented here but who cares? Twilight is amazin! Rob is the PERFECT edward, kristen is the bella i imagined in my head and then taylor.... oh taylor! he is without a doubt the best man for the role! he deserves to be jacob after all of the work that he has put into his new figure! =] not only did he get the part; but he also got even more gorgeous!!!!! i mean, the mans got an 8 pack!
