Is This ‘Breaking Dawn’s’ Renesmee?
As the filming of the two-part Twilight finale Breaking Dawn looms ever closer, Twi-hards can look forward to finding out who else will be joining Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the rest of the vampy gang as the saga prepares to draw to a close.
Yesterday, we reported that The Pacific actor Rami Malek will be filling the role of Egyptian coven member Benjamin in Breaking Dawn 2. And today comes potential casting news on the pivotal role of Edward and Bella’s spawn Renesmee.
According to Model Management Group, the young lady on the right in the above photo, identified only as Kayla D., is being courted for the part of Renesmee. MMG’s Facebook page reads,
“Attached is a photo of Kayla and Daniel D. … Kayla is the little girl up for the role of Bella’s daughter in the new film in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Kayla is pictured with her adorable brother Daniel who has already had two castings since signing with us this month! Daniel will be submitting a video audition for another role in the Twilight film! Good Luck guys!!!!”
Well, she might be a little old for the birth scene—unless producers are planning to make it even gorier than it’s depicted in the novel…

I always imagined Suri Cruise as Renesmee…not sure why.
I guess that means Taylor Lautner better start practicing leering at this kid. I wonder if they’re going to explain that he’s just waiting for her to look old enough to start sexing her up… and the fact that her parents discuss who will be banging their daughter as soon as she turns seven at the dinner table.

rob may be 24 but he can look like 17 if he wants to .. im not sure that girl can look like a 5 year old.. i say no she is too old

She’s adorable; but I’ve had this fantasy of Elle Fanning playing Renesmee ever since Dakota joined the cast and now I can’t see anyone else in the role.

Little kids change a LOT more than post pubecsent males. I’m not saying they can’t pull it off in the movie, but your comparison isn’t relevant at all. A 17 year old and a 24 year old don’t look that much different.

* I definitely can see both Edward & Bella in her! When they give her the famous “curls”, she will be so cute, but Renesme has Edwards facial expressions, and smile….we need to see that too. But the new director will do that for us, I hope the director studies hard! She’s not perfect though, and I have seen different Renesme’s on Youtube, and a few of the tots look exactly as the book describes her. * anyways thats really cool, love Twilight. =}

The girl is surely cute but they need to find a girl who is extremely beautiful and not just cute . She should also have big brown eyes and brown curls. I dont think that Rob and Kstew’s kid can look like this. Moreover this girl is much older looking and wont be suitable as Nessie.
She is so pretty. She could definitely pass for Robward and Kristen/Bella’s daughter.

Nessie is supposed to have curly hair and i know they can curl it but i don’t know i just had a different picture in my head of what she would look like. But then again i had different pictures in my head of all the cast members before it became a film. But I don’t mind if she’s cast as Nessie.
But I don’t want both kids to become part of the cast (i might be 100% wrong) but when its both the kids who are acting it always reminds me of pushy parents and the kids being little spoilt kids who think there better then everybody else. She has the look of a mean girl when she’s at school looool.
This little girl is cute…. but, not at all what I would imagine their child should look like…. The book says that Renesmee looks like her father, but has her mother’s eyes… This little girl looks like she could be Jacob’s child…. not Edward’s… They need to keep looking….

I don’t know why you guys keep bringing her hair into this. If they can turn Kristen’s short strange black mullet hair into flowing brown locks (with an odd hairline, but flowing hair nonetheless), give Taylor long black hair, they most certainly can give this young actress bronze curls.
No! Her eyes are small, squinty and sharp. She looks like Taylor Swift, not like Rob or Kristen. Rob has enormous, expressive eyes, and Kristen’s are soft and deep. Renesmee is supposed to have soulful, sympthetic eyes that compell everyone who looks into them to love and trust her. This little girl is cute but absolutely not Renesmee.

yawn … who cares … hollywood can make nessie look any way they want … they don’t have to stick letter by letter to horribly written book. it will make for a better movie if they don’t.
