Tim Gunn Calls Robert Pattinson “A Little Sloppy”
Don’t expect Tim Gunn to be heaping accolades on Robert Pattinson for his fashion sense anytime soon.
Celebuzz caught up with Project Runway mentor Gunn at the Marshalls “Shop Till It Stops” anti-domestic violence event in Santa Monica, California, on Thursday and asked him the question that’s on everybody’s mind: What does he think about Twilight heartthrob Pattinson landing a spot on People magazine’s best-dressed list?
Gunn opined,
“Robert Pattinson…It’s a look. It’s a style. I mean, he could…he could be stunning, but I think it’s a little sloppy for my taste.”
Cue mass Twi-hard indignation in 3…2…1…
So if Pattinson isn’t Gunn’s cup of tea, who does he think does deserve the title of best-dressed man?
According to Gunn,
“I love George Clooney‘s look. I think Justin Timberlake always looks great.”

I would disagree with Tim only if RPatz brushed his hair. I’m not talking about him turning into a perfectly coiffed Hollywood clone, but his hair frequently reminds me of a bird’s nest. And not in a good way!

Tim- in this modern world- people do not have the time to comb their hair for hours and make sure that their shoes match their hat. I think that people that get dressed in a hurry are the ones that look the best- because it is effortless.

Rob is just fine the way he his. But maybe Tim should check out the pics of Rob at the Oscars & the Japan media tour from earlier this year. Rob does know how to dress for the occassion.

That’s right! The Twilight dude (R-patz?) looks like he hasn’t even washed his hair (for weeks) in some of his photos let alone pulled a brush through it. Tim Gunn didn’t say anything bad about his “look” he just said he preferred George and Justin’s. Twi fans are just a little bit over zealous methinks.

I bet Rob laughed his ass off when he found out he was included in the Best Dressed List. He’s the first person to say he doesn’t belong there – and THAT is sexy. Not those overly pruned hollywood men today who take longer than women to dress up and go out smug and overconfident. Rob is everyman and I love that.

Rob is a casual dresser he won’t dress how a gay old man wants to.
I think that as long as he’s comfortable in what he’s wearing he’s happy, and in my humble opinion that is what clothes should be about.
If Tim thinks he’s sloppy, that’s his issue. At least Rob is comfy and able to go about his day without worrying that he’ll wrinkle! Tim should be so lucky!

Well, I think he is one of the promising actors in the Hollywood. His appearance in te Harry Potter give him the break that he needed. Anyway, Project Runway was really dramatic, and lots of clothes were shown off, and the people making the clothes that hardly anyone would actually buy or afford, went through a lot of personal drama. Turns out that the person who won the last episode, Season 6 Episode 7, even went home and cried after the show. Lifetime is doing pretty well by picking up Project Runway. Logan was…whatever he is, and Christopher cried. He was crying over the fact that he still doesn’t have to go back to work – I don’t have a lot of sympathy for losers on Project Runway, and a lot of them get a good deal of instant cash just for appearing.
