Tina Fey Slams Haters in Globes Speech

on Jan. 12, 2009 04:00 PM / 1 Comment

In what was arguably one of the night's most entertaining speeches at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, 30 Rock star Tina Fey gave special message to her haters.

"If you ever start to feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called the Internet," Fey, 38, said upon accepting the Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy.

"You can find a lot of people there who don't like you, and I'd like to address some of them now," continued the actress, to much applause from the audience.

She then rattled off several online screen names, telling each one, "You can suck it!"

Check out Tina's hilarious speech below:

Fey's win was one of three for NBC's 30 Rock at the Globes.  The critically acclaimed and highly stunt casted comedy also picked up the Best Series and Best Actor (for Alec Baldwin) awards in the Musical or Comedy genre.

Meanwhile, a recent tabloid report noted that Baldwin, 50, and Fey have a tense working relationship on the acclaimed series.

"She's calling Alec out on things," a source told Star magazine in late December. "She's finally saying she doesn't need to take his crap."

So be careful, Alec.  Tina isn't one to regret her cruelty.
