Tina Fey Wins Emmy, Loses Purse

Sep 22, 2008 at 1:29pm

People reports that Tina Fey had much to celebrate last night. She won fistfuls of Emmys for her NBC comedy 30 Rock.

The only problem is that she had nothing to store them in when she got to the pressroom.

“If anyone’s seen my purse,” she announced in the Emmys pressroom backstage, “I left it under my seat.”

Fey won awards for writing, executive producing, and acting in NBC’s favored sitcom about the backstage goings-on at an SNL-esque variety show.

Tina’s also coming off rave reviews for her Sarah Palin impression on SNL last weekend.

Fey says that she hopes “to be done playing this lady November fifth.”

Pam Anderson seconds that motion, Tina.
