Pfft; some superhero Tobey Maguire is.

The Spider-Man actor went running in New York recently, but couldn't manage to outrun the paps as they kept pace with him and snapped away.

Maguire has a tendency to avoid paparazzi like a case of herpes, so obviously his turtle-like trot wasn't an effort to play chummy with the shutterbugs.

No wonder The Dark Knight trampled all over Spider-Man 3 at the box office.

Maybe Maguire should hire a personal trainer. This guy could probably teach him a thing or two.

    Maybe they were hitting it off? If Tobey wanted to run faster he would have.
