Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri: Flying High in Rio
Being the child of two A-list stars has its advantages.
In Suri Cruise's case, life in the spotlight means that the entire world is constantly reminded of how adorable you are.
Also, you get to do lots of neat things, like travel to exotic locales and ride in helicopters. (The real kind, not the coin-operated ones in front of supermarkets.)
In Brazil to promote his Nazi-era hit Valkyrie (which hits Brazilian theaters on February 3), Tom Cruise, 46, took wife Katie Holmes, 30, and their two-year-old daughter Suri to Rio de Janeiro, where they partook in a chopper ride.
The helicopter excursion was jut one high point in the family's Brazilian sojourn, which began on Friday. The Cruise clan—who're staying at Rio's legendary Copacabana Palace Hotel—have also enjoyed some Japanese grub at Sushi Leblon, and hit the private beach of a Brazilian military base, where Suri got to play in the sand—including a seashell hunt—with the children of military personnel, reports Entertainmentwise. According to eTaiwainNews, prior to doing a press conference for his new flick tomorrow morning, Cruise plans to bring his gals to several tourist spots in and around Rio.
Mixing business and pleasure, and looking good while doing it; gotta love the Cruise crew.
