Katie Holmes Debuts on Broadway

Katie Holmes debuted in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons last night on Broadway and her biggest fan was in the audience: husband Tom Cruise.

“I’m so proud of her,” Tom told People. “This means so much to her.”

The play doesn’t officially open until October 16 (last night was the first preview at New York’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre), so Katie has some time to fine tune her role and Kat knows practice makes perfect.

While the actress works it on Broadway, Tom and Suri have been keeping busy exploring the Big Apple.

How else is Tom whittling away the long hours away from his wife? Maybe he’s been feeling retro and watching the 25-anniversary DVD of Risky Business
