Tom Cruise Skips Katie's B'Day for 'Valkyrie' Premiere
Will Tom Cruise be in the doghouse upon his return to New York?
The actor attended the Los Angeles premiere of his WW II drama Valkyrie Thursday night at the Directors Guild of America. Much like the New York premiere three days prior, the group Anonymous showed up on the street outside the event to protest the Church of Scientology.
See the protesters here in this clip from Hollywood dot TV:
Decked out in a black suit and white shirt with no tie, Cruise, 46, shared the red carpet with stars Carice van Houten, Priscilla Presley, Jenna Elfman and Lorielle New.
However, Thursday was also Tom's wife Katie Holmes' 30th birthday.
With Cruise on the West Coast, poor Katie, in New York, had no one but her two-year-old daughter, Suri, to comfort her while she suffered with a cold sore on her milestone day.
Hopefully Tom makes it up to the wife with an extra-special gift for the holidays. He is, after all, in a generous mood lately.

Holy crap, he looks like he ate a handful of peyote buttons in that top picture.
tom is sooo handsome....
It is not like I believed him when he told Barbra Walters how romantic he was or People magazine what a "family man" he was. But when it is in every newspaper that your wife is in New York while you are in LA all in the same week as the above....
- People are going to talk TOM !!!
Tom Cruise supports a cult. Most peole think that is a private matter and that anyone who speaks against it , is a bigot. A coupl of things to keep in mind. Scientology is NOT a religion, and Cruise supports a cult that has the Sea Org that has child and elderly abuse, coerced abortions, family disconnection, mind control, sleep deprivation, little to no wages, poor diets, humiation, improper medical care, improper education and the list goes on. Cruise lobbied in DC to have Hubbard tech taught in EVERY school in the Untied States a short time ago. Scientlogy has infiltrated some of our schools, government, police forces, businneses, and even our jail systems with their front group Criminon. They have a drug treatment called Narconon that has unlicsened people administering dangerous high doses of vitamins, oil and have people do hours or saunas and extensive exercising. This is a VERY dangerous program, and some states are actually FUNDING these programs, which means that it isYOUR tax dollars paying for these programs. "Second Chance" (another front name for Scientlogy Narconon) in New Mexico is just one of them.Scientology's mail goal is to "clear the planet". They want all citizens to become Scientologists and they will stop at nothig to try to make this happen. They have bought up vast amounts of real estate( ALL TAX FREE) and have just about taken over Clearwater Florida. Is your town next?
these problems with Scientology are WORLD WIDE.
Do your homework people. Check out all these facts on the internet and you will see they are ALL true.
To support an actor that is in Scientology is to support Scientology plain and simple.
And that includes Will Smith too who just gave 1 million dollars to open a private school that will teach Scientology tech by staffed Scientology teachers.
