Top 10 Short Female Celebs
Aug 23, 2008 at 12:36pm
All you women out there who spend a large portion of your day gushing over how disgustingly flawless today’s Hollywood starlets are, get happy! Some on-screen beauties lack about four to six inches of perfection in one particular area.
That’s right, not all celebrities have legs that go for miles.
They do have the funds to buy shoes that add a few inches, but whenever you’re feeling down and glorifying the lives of Hollywood’s finest, remember that some of them might look like runway models, but they can’t reach the top shelves of their walk-in closets.
Check out the gallery on the right to see which glamour girls don’t have the height to match their stature.

Short girls are way hotter then tall girls. Tall girls suck!!!

Petite can be so cute and dainty while tall can be sophisticated and elegant but either way we are all amazing.

Tall girls are BEAUTIFUL. I wouldn’t want to be short..they tend to be the disproportunate type…
yeah well I wouldn’t wanna be a lanky 6′foot dino with huge feet, mosquito tits and no curve! stupid bitch, like seriously, men want someoine shorter than them, pref with something to grab on to. The only disproportionate ones a girls like you. Good luck finding a guy who wants you, that’s all I’m gunna say!
I’m 17 and only 5 foot! Everyone thinks I’m cute cause of my height but also comment on my face being gorgeous aswell. Just because we are short does not make us fat oompa loompas, we can be proportioned very well just like anyone else. Everyone has their own body type too. I know some tall girls who HATE being tall because they tower over everyone and guys don’t think its hot. But I think all heights are gorgeous. Stop looking for this “ideal” height because no one is perfect, perfection DOES NOT exist!!!!
I’m 5’5-a perfect average :)
Height isn’t what makes you a man or woman. Sensibility, humanity and responsibily … These are what play a little more role than a good height can play. We all boys usually love to find girls having height that matches with us. But it does not allow me to demean a girl who is not that tall I want and vice versa. Don’t let this height have more importance than your humanity has. But if you think height is the only thing that makes you a man or woman , then marry an Eucalyptus tree, I think it is taller than any human …
i’m 4’10, i have a perfectly proportioned and normal body and i’m regularly told how i have a “figure to die for” and that i am “cute”… if anything i’d say that small is better ’cause you appear curvier and much more approachable.
so to you idiots ranting about how tall is better: get over your own insecurities and stop trying to put other people down.
Yeah, I am 4’9′ and 14, and i’m not an oompa loompa…. I weigh about 85 pounds…. i’m perfectly proportionate and people are always telling me how beautiful I am! I’d rather be small than a big giraffe that towers over everyone… maybe I can’t always reach the top shelf, but I can do alot of things that you cant do when you are tall, its easy to fit into small spaces or win hide and seek! LOL! So, to all you guys and girls saying that tall people are better you’re wrong. Did you know that on average short people live longer?! One of the distinct advantages about being short is that people have a tendency to underestimate you so it only takes half the effort to impress.
Physical advantages of shorter height
Shorter people of the same proportions as taller people have many physical advantages based on the laws of physics, and these advantages are supported by many researchers. Shorter people have faster reaction times, greater ability to accelerate body movements, stronger muscles in proportion to body weight, greater endurance, and the ability to rotate the body faster. They are also less likely to break bones in falling. As a consequence of these physical attributes, shorter people can excel as gymnasts, divers, skiers, martial artists, rock climbers, figure skaters, rodeo riders, soccer players and long distance runners. Within their weight classes they are excellent wrestlers, boxers, and weight lifters.
Shorter people are also less likely to require surgery for herniated spinal disks. In addition, shorter people are less likely to break a hip from falling. Another advantage of smaller people is that they are less likely to die in auto crashes. One study found that people weighing less than 132 pounds had the lowest risk of dying or suffering serious injuries compared to bigger people. Although height data weren’t provided, it is known that height and weight tend to be correlated. Thus, lighter weight people are more likely to be shorter than heavier people. No adjustments for air bag deployment were made, although other studies have found them to negatively affect short people.
Increased longevity of shorter, smaller people
An early paper illustrating the greater longevity of shorter people appeared in the Bulletin of the World Health Organization in 1992. Since then we have presented substantial findings showing that shorter, smaller people live longer. The reason for this is that bigger bodies have more cells and these cells are subject to replacement due to wear or damage. Hayflick pointed out many years ago that most human body cells have limited capacity for duplication. Since bigger people require a larger number of duplications to reach maturity, they have fewer potential cell doublings left to replace defective or dead cells. Thus, the functional capability of vital organs declines with advanced age because damaged cells can’t be replaced. A new study also showed that oxidative damage to cells increases at a higher rate with increasing height; e.g., an 18% increase in height leads to an 83% increase in cellular damage. Current gerontological thinking is that oxidative damage leads to aging and death. A few years ago, a comprehensive study of about 300 height and cancer papers, concluded that taller people had a 20 to 60% higher incidence of cancer compared to shorter people. More recently, breast, testicular, and prostate cancer studies found taller women and men suffered from substantially higher cancer rates. SO THERE YOU GO!
