Tori Spelling: Donna Martin Is Back!
90210 fans new and old rejoice. Donna Martin has returned to her old zip code.
Donna’s portrayer Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth (aka Kelly Taylor) were photographed shooting scenes for Donna Martin’s return to the CW’s new iteration of 90210 yesterday.
The actresses rode in a convertible Rolls Royce which might be reflecting Spelling’s character’s status as a famous fashion designer.
Accompanying them was scandalously slender actress Jessica Stroup, who portrays Kelly Taylor’s half-sister Silver on the show.
Spelling is returning for a multi-episode arc that will being airing on April 14. She has apparently settled her initial pay dispute with producers when first approached to reprise her signature role.
The Huffington Post reports that the shoot was besieged with photographers eager for a shot of Garth and Spelling working together for the first time since the original show went off the air in 2000.
This was also reportedly the first time the show has actually filmed IN Beverly Hills.
Spelling, used to the paparazzi attention, was quoted as saying all the attention was “just another day out.”
Let’s hope that her guest stint can produce an episode as epic as the “Donna Martin graduates!” one.
