Travis Barker Suing After Plane Crash

on Nov. 22, 2008 03:59 PM / 1 Comment

Travis Barker has filed a lawsuit against the pilots and Bombardier Inc., Clay Lacy Aviation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber for the plane crash that killed four people, and left him and close friend DJ AM severely burned.

The lawsuit blames the pilot's training as one of the causes of the crash, saying, "The pilots were either poorly trained and/or failed to follow their training."

The suit also reads that plane's landing gear, tires, wheels, brakes, reverse thrust system, and squat switches "were not airworthy" and the tires failed, "leaving tire debris and portions of airplane components along the 8,600-foot runaway."

Travis is not alone in his accusations. The mother of his late bodyguard, Charles Still, is also joining Travis in their fight for justice.
