Trend Spotting With Kim Kardashian: Valentine's Guy

Valentine's Day is coming up, and if you're still looking for the perfect gift for the man in your life, look no further!

Planning the perfect romantic holiday for guys can be tough—especially if your man isn't a big fan of V-Day, which is quite common. For a lot of guys, a romantic dinner with champagne, candles and flowers is enough to make them gag. (In my case, I'm lucky! Reggie will be with me in New York for Fashion Week!)

Here is a breakdown of how to bro down with your man for a Valentine's Day both of you can handle.

The Sports Fan
If your boyfriend or husband has a favorite team, why not get him season tickets? You can also show him your affection with memorabilia and greatest moments DVDs, or you can splurge on tickets to a key game with seats that are close to the action (no nosebleed section, please!) Here's a fun idea: Buy a piece of lingerie in at least one of the team colors of his favorite team and put an iron-on transfer of the team's logo on it. Be careful not to ruin delicate fabric; you may have to sew the transfer on if ironing is too damaging.
 
The High Roller
These guys like bling. Period. Get him some diamond, gold or platinum cuff links. Does he wear rings? Buy him one! You can strategically attach the jewels to a great piece of lingerie and let him find them in the heat of the moment. Does your high roller need new rims for his ride? Pick out the flashiest ones you can find! Or simply book a trip to Vegas and surprise him with the tickets and hotel reservations!

Funny Man
Extroverted, funny guys like to make people laugh. Get your comedian a nice gift, but make sure to also just be a good audience; giggle a little more than you usually do and tell him how hilarious he is. You can also take him to your local improv theater—maybe even arrange for the actors to call him on stage! Or take him to an arcade and crack up over the silly video games (Dance Dance Revolution is always great for a laugh).

Artistic Man
This is perhaps the most difficult type of guy to shop for. You have to take care to make your gift very personal to his taste. What's his favorite band? Get him tickets to their next performance or buy a signed record. (Yes, a record! They can have much more sentimental appeal.) Is there a painting he has been eyeing? Buy it! (If it's too expensive, buy a print and have it framed.) Does he have a book of poetry he has worn out? Get him a leather-bound edition.

When in doubt, put on the sexiest piece of lingerie you can find (get something new for V-Day, ladies!) and cook your guy dinner in it. You may not make it to dessert!
