True Blood: New Promo Stills

As season 2 of vampire drama True Blood—which brings the addition of Evan Rachel Wood to the cast—prepares to premiere on June 14, HBO has released new promo shots featuring Bon Temps, Louisiana's supernatural residents.

The batch of photos feature shapeshifter Sam Merlotte (played by Sam Trammell) and Sookie sibling Jason Stackhouse (portrayed by Ryan Kwanten) in all their sizzling and oft-shirtless glory. Hawt!

Having read the books I was quite disappointed that HBO felt the need to add so much sex and profanity to the first season. I will not be watching it fruther for this reason. It is sad because the books are so great!! What a shame HBO..what a shame!!

I am a HUGE fan of the books and am an even bigger fan of the series! I can't wait for season 2!!! It's like wonderful, intriguing, seamy, steamy tv candy. Bravo HBO! LOVE LOVE LOVE what Alan Ball is doing.

I have read all the books, and I understand that they have to change things for the series. I can't wait for the second season to start!! Not only am I hooked, everyone else I know is hooked too!! (even my mother!)

I LOVE Ryan Kwanten. Have since he was Vinny in Home and Away. Thank you HBO for all the shirtless (and more) scenes with him.
