Twilight Co-Star on Pattinson-Stewart Romance: “It’s Bull”
While a nation of Twi-hards might say otherwise, Twilight actor Billy Burke says there’s just no truth to the rumors that Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are a couple.
Burke, who plays Stewart’s on-screen father Charlie Swan in the wildly popular vampire movie series, said in no uncertain terms that he doesn’t think the two are hooking up while at Melanie Segal’s MTV Movie Awards gift suite this week.
“As far as I know, I’m gonna say bullsh*t,” Burke asserted, according to E! Online. “I’m not buying it please!”
Burke, who admits to knocking a few back with RPattz in the Vancouver bars while the two were filming New Moon, adds that his co-star isn’t nearly as glamorous as his millions of swooning female fans might assume.
“He’s a goofball,” Burke opines. “If people knew how much of a goofball he was, they wouldn’t be falling all over the place. He doesn’t take it all too seriously.”

There are just too many girls who WANT them to be together because it makes the love story seem more real. It isn’t going to matter who comes out and says what. Even when Rob and Kristen have denied it, people don’t believe them. They want it too bad and so they study pictures to find something that isn’t there.

After watching the short video clipse of Kristen and Robert kising scene in Italy which is widely published in the website, I believe that there is no real romance but professionalism and Kristen Stewart deserve the award for best actress. We can see in the clipse that she needed no special VIP treatment and despite the critics she gets from girls and media thru the net too, she performed exceptinally well. I honestly salute her and sometimes feel quite touched looking at her in that video.No vip treatment seen or fuss given to her as much what Robert received and yet she nailed it perfectly with commitment and dedication. Wow! We do hope you win the award Kristen. You are truly talented and awesome girl!Wow!

This is a very serious matter? Uhhhh, no, it really isn’t. World hunger, children dying of AIDS, child prostitution, world recession, ……..THESE are very serious matters. Whether two human beings are really dating or not is NOT a very serious matter. It’s a frivolous matter. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few months as they part ways and film other movies. Well Billy…I think that his “goofy-ness” is what is so appealing about Robert. He’s just a regular guy and relatable. And his humbleness is even more appealing.
As for the Robsten dating…I really don’t think its happening, but its FREE marketing on Summits behalf to keep all eyes on the Twilight series. So they keep up the speculation, keep girls watchin and waiting…Makes life difficult for Rob and Kristen, but thats what happens when you become famous. Careful what you wish for.

I totally agree. People seem to forget that it’s just a book and a movie. Just because the characters are great together on screen does not mean that should transfer over into real life. How must Kristen’s real boyfriend Mike feel? He could probably care less cause they are together and the rumors don’t mean anything. I feel sad for people that have to have Rob and Kristen together. See who she takes to the MTV movie awards.

I’m Italian and I have been in Montepulciano for the whole past week also coz I was choosen among the 2000 stands-in for the kissing scene. All I can say for sure is: Kris’ boyfriend was not with her in Italy, we met her with Dakota Fanning the day before the shooting and we talked for a few minutes: K herself confirmed that (she said she missed him). Dunno if Robsten is a couple but: the day K arrived R moved from his hotel to hers…during the shooting of the kiss scene they kept on talking very closely between the takes: they are very close, then imagine what you prefer. They left yesterday together from Rome bacl to LA for the Movie awards. Ali (sorry for my bad English)..if you want more info just ask!
Billy Burke is the coolest. He steals every scene he’s in. If it isn’t nailed down, Billy’ll nab it. He rocks. Kristen and Rob are behaving beautifully with all the rumors swirling around them. They’re both young, very talented and riding a phenom wave with grace.

I really hope she goes with Mike and maybe the rumors will stop, or maybe people would just say is a publicity stunt..but common people how would Summit benefit if she’s with Michael all the time…i think is all a marketing tool from Summit Entertainment as long as people think there is something goin on between Kristen and Rob more people get interested.
