‘Twilight’ Dominates Teen Choice Awards

Raise your hand if you’re shocked.
Those adorable kids from Twilight took over the Teen Choice Awards last night, winning eleven out of the twelve categories they were nominated in.
The Vampire romance won for choice drama, romance, liplock, rumble, soundtrack, drama actress for Kristen Stewart, choice hottie and drama actor for Robert Pattinson, villain for Cam Gigandet, fresh face female for Ashley Greene and fresh face male for Taylor Lautner.
While accepting his award, Taylor teased the audience, saying “We’ll see you guys in theaters November 20.”

I’m not shock that Twilight won 11 out of 12 awards. They deserve it. Twilight is like the BEST movie I’ve ever watched and BEST book I’ve read so far! And the characters are all HOT! I hope they would post the Teen Choice Awards show on the Internet. Haha! TEAM EDWARD! =)

Oh wow. The power of teens. I love that this movie beat out, Australia, Slumdog Millionaire, Changeling, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and well… even Star Trek.
lol The Oscars this is not. But it is definitely a fun award show.

I love that they won in all these categories! They really deserve it! but which category did they lose in… coz they should’ve won it!!

Wow…then you seriously need to expand your literay/film knowledge. Both the twilight book and movie are on my WORST list.

yeah right. i’m a seventeen-year-old girl and i voted everyday for them and I’m pretty sure there are millions of older or with the same age girls who did exactly the same. So, shut up!

technically they didnt lose in any category cuz Ashley Greene nd Nikki Reed were both nominated for Choice Movie: Fresh Face Female
they would have won all 12 but nikki reed and ashley greene were both up for fresh face female
Twilight didn’t really lose one., There was one category for FRESH FACE FEMALE that both Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed were nominated. And Ashley won it. So overall, they were 12 nominations, and only 11 were won, because there wouldn’t be 2 winners in one category right?
Well it is the teen choice awards not the oscars or anything that would actually give an actor any real credibility so yeah, I can absolutely see Twilight winning so much.
I was so anxious for the movie when it first came out, being a fan of the books, addict really. When I saw it I was so disappointed. I wonder what Stephanie Meyer secretly thinks…

I think High School Musical should have won for sound track. The other awards for Twilight I agree with.

Agree with you ! We focus on HSM3′s soundtracks and Twilight’s romance.
I think that it is an absolute disgrace that twilight won. The movie was absolutely terribe, none of them can act! The books were horrible pieces of literature too. Though what can you expect from the teen choice awards? I will have to remember next year to just watch the oscars and whatnot.

like seriously, open your eyes. twilight has fans of different ages. Is that so hard to notice? just because the book is a young adult romance novel, does not mean people from other ages can’t love it.
the TCA are, like the name says, the teen’s choices so they can vote at whatever they want and the awards that twilight won were all deserved. Of course the movie would be greater if they put it more similar to the book, but the story was there, the cast couldn’t be better and that’s why people never get tired to watch twilight.
Twilight is not that good, but it is ok!
And it maybe the ‘best movie ever’ for kids, but not the best in reality. But have to admit, those kids in twilight are astonishingly good-looking, especially Kristen Stewart!
Twilight isn’t the best movie ever, it does have it’s faults, but for the fans (like myself) it…well, it does it’s job. There are hundreds of thousands of people out there who do like it, who dont like it, and those with mixed opinions. I am happy that they won the awards they did, and in my opinion, they deserved them. The books are amazing, but I’m not trying to change the minds of any non-Twilighters. I’m just saying what I think about the film and books. So don’t have a go at me because you don’t agree with what I’m saying, I’m saying that everyone deserves their own opinion, and you shouldn’t be mad, upset, or annoyed with what someone else may think. That’s all from me.
