Tyra Banks Takes Over the White House

Hey, apparently it's true; Barack Obama really is like a celebrity. Or at least, the Democratic presidential candidate has celebrities willing to stand in for his wife.

Tyra Banks pays tribute to Obama's wife Michelle in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar. Tyra poses as the possible next First Lady in a photo-spread and gushes with Obama love in the accompanying interview.

"When Barack won the nomination, I just started bawling," says Banks, who characterizes Michelle Obama as "one hot mama."

Even so, Banks has some advice for Michelle. (Has Tyra Banks ever not had advice for someone?)

"I want her to not take herself too seriously," Banks warns. "She’d need to know how to take a fierce picture, but at the same time be able to eat fried chicken, have grease on her fingers, and be okay with getting photographed like that, too."

Huh; a photogenic woman who's willing to play the fool sometimes and isn't afraid to let the cameras capture her chowing down sloppily? Maybe this is the real woman for the job.

The inaugural  ball would definitely be a blowout.
