UPDATE: Heidi Montag Has Ulcers Due to "Torture"

UPDATE: TMZ has unearthed the reason for Heidi Montag's hospitalization in Costa Rica yesterday.

Apparently, Montag has been diagnosed with a gastric ulcer, following a challenge on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! during which she and husband Spencer Pratt were kept in a dark room for a day and night with only water, rice and beans.

The challenge was reportedly conceived as a punishment for Montag and Pratt trying to bail on the show.

"It's the same as Guantanamo Bay," opines one cast member of Heidi and Spencer's treatment.

Can somebody get Amnesty International on the phone?

Montag has left the hospital and is now taking medications for her ailment.

Oh, goodness!

Heidi Montag is probably regretting the decision to finagle her way back onto I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! with her husband Spencer Pratt right about now.

OK! Magazine reports that the Hills villainess has been rushed to a Costa Rican hospital after falling ill on the set of the survivalist reality show. According to sources, Montag appears to be suffering from an infection, and is currently undergoing tests. Hubby Pratt apparently accompanied her on the ambulance ride to the hospital.

Maybe she overdosed on kangaroo genitals?

More than likely, this is another Speidi ploy -- this time to get the pair out of the lawsuit that NBC has supposedly threatened Speidi with if they don't fulfill the terms of their contract by actually trying to compete for their charities.

I like this photo of her, without all the makeup and the styling. It show her for who she really is, a syphilitic whore who should be doling out blowies behind the Piggly Wiggly for a fistful of food stamps...

There's nothing wrong with her other than a complusive need for attention - and NBC has given it to her! They may as well give her part of the company for all of the free publicity she's gotten because of the ridiculous show. If the show wasn't for charity I wouldn't care, but they made it a joke. Shows the character judgement abilities of the people running the network.

It amazes me how jealous people are. Although they are celebrities you guys need to get some sense and realize they are people just like you, who also deserve to respected. Why hate?

just because other people have enough common sense to spot BS does not mean they are jealous or hateful.
