UPDATE: Sam Ronson Not Seeking Restraining Order Against Lindsay
UPDATE: Lindsay Lohan will not be restrained—at least by Samantha Ronson.
Though Sam’s sister Charlotte Ronson and mother Ann Dexter-Jones were seen inquiring about a restraining order in a Beverly Hills police station on Monday, the celeb deejay’s lawyer, David Bass, tells People magazine, “Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order. There is no basis for one.”
Adds a source, “Sam and Lindsay are broken up, but Sam does not feel she’s in any danger whatsoever. She thinks the whole thing is absurd.”

OK! Magazine reports that Samantha Ronson‘s family is considering taking out a restraining order against Lohan after LiLo and Sam’s messy breakup this weekend.
According to the magazine, Ronson’s mother, Ann Dexter-Jones, and sister, Charlotte Ronson, showed up at a Beverly Hills police station at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday to inquire about their legal options with regard to the breakup.
A source says that a desk clerk at the front desk advised them, “The restraining order is the best option. If she violates it, then she gets taken away.”
This idea apparently appealed to the Ronson clan, who laid out their tale of woe to the clerk. “She does these things to get attention,” Charlotte told the officer. “She was trying to get into my party this weekend. We had to tell security to keep her out. Then she booked a room at the Chateau Marmont. Her room was right below…She also followed our brother Mark [Ronson, record producer] around.”
Dexter-Jones also chimed in, alleging that Lohan had returned to her party-girl ways.
“[Lohan] was doing drugs,” Samantha’s mother told the clerk. “And we could not sleep that night at the Chateau. She was complaining about the music and noise coming from upstairs. She was trying to get attention, so that Sam could come down.”
Dexter-Jones reportedly also told the clerk that Lohan engages in self-mutilation, adding, “She cuts herself too. She is a cutter!”

Sam tried to break up with Lindsay and eventually did just like Shane tried to break up with Jenny and eventually did.
It’s like Lindsay’s and Sam’s relationship mimicked Shane’s and Jenny’s relationship.
Lindsay needs to be loved and needs people to understand and talk to her to solve her problems, she really needs attention thats why she acts like that. I would help her out if I could, she is so beautiful and talented and its a pity what happens to her, she is lost, let me help you to find yourself Linds. My best. BTW Im Sams age and its an absurd to date a 22 year old thinking it will be easy, even if this 22 year old isnt famous its not easy but if you really love, you make it easier.
Let them get a restraining order. They have benefitted enough off of Lohan’s name and person. Once she’s gone no one will know who they are again and “friends” like Nicole Richie will fade away. Then Sam will be calling Lindsay crying like the bitch she is.
