“Even though Demi gives the impression that she is healthy and recovering nicely, this picture proves otherwise.”
So you know her mindset then right? I mean you must have some sort of precognitive mind reading abilities or what not since you know exactly what is going on through her mind when she made this. And it couldn’t possibly to be for the sake of having fun. Because people don’t post pics of them selves for fun on sites like face book, myspace or twitter or what not. No, that’s unheard of. Psh
“If she really was doing great, I don’t think she would feel the need to prove it by showing a picture of herself in a bikini.”
So let me get this straight. Everyone who has pictures of them selves in a bikini or in a bathing suit is automatically trying to show everyone that they are feeling good about them selves? So all those actresses who have pap shots of them in bikini’s on the beach, they’re all just insecure and feel the need to show off their bodies for validation. Hell anyone on the internet who has a picture of them selves feels the need to show them selves is now insecure? What kind of BS logic is that?
“Plus, she often posts on her twitter when she is about to workout or has just finished working out. To me, this is a sign of unhealthy obsession.”
I talk about working out all the time. And I talk about how I use to be a hundred pounds heavier a year ago as to where I am now which is significantly less. Does that mean it’s an unhealthy obsession? So liking to workout and staying active and being HEALTHY is an unhealthy obsession? There’s a difference between working out for being unhealthy and working out for maintaining a healthy weight. Which is what she seems to be doing from the looks of it.
“Despite what she may say about her recovery, I don’t think she’s showing any real progression”
And despite what YOU say, you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. You have Zero insight to her life. You don’t know her on a personal level. You have one twit pic and all of a sudden you think she is taking a step back? If anything it’s quite the opposite. If you’re brave enough to take a pic of yourself in a bikini when your body isn’t built like Jordana Brewster, Olivia Wilde or someone like that, I’d say that’s a pretty big transition into becoming a more confident person. It takes REAL confidence to do something and not give a s**t about what people think, as to consulting people and constantly second guessing your own mental prowess.
“I don’t mean to sound critical, it’s just that I’m a huge fan of demi’s and I don’t want to see her at a low point.”
Yeah I don’t think her encouraging people to get healthy and be confident about their bodies and encouraging them to do what they want, without caring about what people think is a Low point at all. Sorry but it’s not.
