Chris Colfer at the Golden Globes. He was so shocked by his win. You could see the color drain from his face in the moment they announced his name, I was worried he might pass out. When he got up there he was great. He went through his list of regular people to thank – directors, crew, cast (Who were all so excited for him. Loved watching their reactions as much as his.) and of course the fans. I don’t normally like the “inspirational” speeches winners attempt during these things, but his message is so true to his character on the show and I imagine what he must have experienced at some point or another in his own life. He was just genuine all around.
- swimsuit (something cute but functional enough to avoid any mishaps in the waves)
- sunglasses (protect your eyes from those UV rays)
- beach cover-up (something simple and easy to walk off the beach with)
- sun screen (lip, face and body – no lobsters here)
- extra pair of flip flops (speaking from experience, always bring a 2nd pair, you never know when you’ll lose one off the side of a boat)
- cell phone (only to be used in case of emergencies….vacas = relaxation time)
