I am so proud of Kim for doing right by her family. She’s getting her priorities in order and she is doing the right thing. She chose her marriage and children over her career and good for her.
This may not be the right choice for everyone, but sometimes it’s just too difficult to juggle both. You have to cherish these moments in your life as it is far too short. This part of her life will pass quickly. Before you know it, her oldest girls will have children of their own and Kim and Kroy’s babies will be teenagers. Sometimes people get sick and don’t recover.
I married the love of my life and we both made adjustments to our lifestyles to remain happily married. A year and a half ago, my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer which had spread to his liver. He chances of recovery are very slim. I watch him get thinner, weaker, and more pale every day.
He is in tremendous pain and my heart is, too.
At this point, I’m glad we made our adjustments and commitment to make our marriage work. He treated me like a queen.
Kim and Kroy are obviously in love and their marriage is working. I see the commitment from them to keep it working. I’ll bet that Kim’s girls and both the babies will be blessed with a functional family life. I give Kim and Kroy lots of credit. Marriage is hard work.
We all need to look around and count our blessings.
