This story is truly amazing. I think his comment “I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too,” is the best attitude to have. The most important thing is he realized he was going down a bad road, and made a conscious effort to change. By pursuing something with a passion, and without drugs to fuel the passion, he is now completely successful, and I can only assume, much happier. This just goes to show we never know where our life will take us. The one thing we do need to remember is that we are in control of our life. If you ever feel out of control, that’s a clear indication that something is wrong. So good for you Corey, you are an amazing example, and an amazing talent, and thank you for sharing such an intimate detail of your life. I guarantee someone will read this article and think twice about what they are doing with their life. And to the rest of the world who put actors and actresses on a pedestal, I do not dispute they should be acknowledged for their gifts; however this story proves they are just like us.
