‘Vanity Fair’ Finally Gets It Right

It’s nice to see that Graydon Carter is getting with the times.

The Vanity Fair editor is obviously taking steps to revamp the dusty but venerable periodical. The esteemed publication’s August issue features a story on Hollywood’s Next Wave, laying out the definitive details on up-and-comers like the Jonas Brothers, Amanda Seyfried, Emma Roberts, Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart.

Among the topics broached? “Chuck Taylors or Nikes?” “Xbox, Wii or PlayStation?”

The tastiest revelation in VF‘s hard-hitting coverage of Young Hollywood: Lively’s snack appetites run toward “whatever’s greasier and cheesier.”

The world should have known that Vanity Fair was at the forefront of “whatever’s greasier and cheesier” a couple of months ago, when they ran topless photos of a 15-year-old.

Hopefully, next issue reveals what flavor Pixy Stix Abigail Breslin prefers.
