Victoria Beckham Is a Heel of a Gal
Most women would opt not to wear skyscraper heels during a long day of sight-seeing.
But then, most women aren’t fashion visionary Victoria Beckham.
The 34-year-old former Spice Girl took her boys—Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3—on a tour of Rome Monday (Vic’s soccer-stud husband David Beckham is currently on loan to the Italian league’s AC Milan team). The tour included a visit to famed landmark the Colosseum, where the little dudes had their pictures taken with a couple of pretend Roman soldiers in full battle dress.
The faux warriors’ get-ups had nothing, however, on the wicked heels that Victoria was sporting.
In fact, Victoria’s sons themselves could give these gladiators a run for their Euros in the costume department.
The boys have a great example of fashionable masculinity in their hyper-metro father, but even Dad probably follows the dictates of Mom for his style cues.
Posh just walks that fine line between absurd dedication and absolute fabulosity like no other woman can.
Somehow, while in Rome, despite the towering Louboutins, Beckham managed not to topple over like a rickety ruin while stalking through the amphitheatre.
Once and for all, Victoria Beckham is a style pro. Even when she’s on holiday, she’s all business about her appearance.
