VIDEO: Adam Lambert Assaulted by Sex Toy!
Poor Adam Lambert. His fans just love him too much. And in very bizarre ways.
As the American Idol fave recently mentioned, his admirers are fond of pelting him with sex toys at his concerts, and that's exactly what happened at his August 14 show at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Judging from Ad-Lam's reaction, he wasn't too happy about it. Scroll to the 2:10 mark to see for yourself.

All of this blogging just cracks Adam up. Controversy is good for publicity, and he's always been gracious about it, he just doesn't want to get hurt and he has politely said so. But I know that the long tour is wearing, and hopefully he'll keep his energy up and not get overwhelmed. It really is a ridiculously long tour, but he's a hit wherever he goes; it will be worth it when his album comes out.

Gosh, people should not do that to Adam! Who was that crazy guy? He should be shot! From what I have read it was an over zealous teenager who mis-threw it ... whether it was out of disrespect or just in fun i don't know ... but ADAM did address the issue before he sang his next song and I don't think he was angry ... just startled ... but he did emphasize for fans to not throw things AT him ... just in the corner of the stage ... that it was a little CRAZY ... and he said it in a tactful way ... just like he ALWAYS does.

Why does Adam get a pass for kicking it back into the audience. He could have hurt someone. Throwing stuff on stage is wrong, but kicking it back is worse. He's liable for any injury he causes.

I think that when fans throw bras, panties, whips, handcuffs, & jock straps are all meant in good fun. And from the interviews he's given about the subject, he seems to actually appreciate that his performances make his fans feel sexy & make them want to throw these things on stage. But, as far as throwing a "penis" on stage, I think that was in bad taste. That just seemed to speak more to his sexuality, rather than his fans' feeling sexy by his performance, which is what he has said he'd like to do. I totally understand why he seemed to get a bit aggravated. It's not supposed to be about his sexuality, but about the music & how it makes others feel.
