Last weekend, Shia LaBeouf ditched the Oscars to shoot his buddy Cage‘s music video for his single “I Never Knew You.”

Shot at the massive American Apparel warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, this just-released video clip shows the 22-year-old actor wearing his go-to baseball cap tilted to the side, while he…sits in the driver’s seat? Check it out:

Let’s hope Shia never turned that car engine on, since his driver’s license was recently suspended for a year, due to his crazy July DUI arrest.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that around 500 extras helped to create a human circle for a dream sequence that will be a major part of the video.
